What will be your DeVry success story?
"There
was a lot of competition to get the job. There were people
that I thought had more qualifications and experience, but
I think that the two things that got me the job are my education
at DeVry, combined with my experience in the Marine Corps."
"The biggest thing
is I will have my bachelor's degree in three years. You can't
beat that anywhere. I've already passed up the graduating
class ahead of me from high school and am gaining on the
one that graduated two years ahead of me. Again, I'll have
a degree at 21 years old. I can take it anywhere I want to
go. I'll be prepared for any job."
"I think that DeVry graduates
offer employers a strong sense of self. We know who we are,
we know what we're capable of, and we know what we can accomplish.
Whether it's on a team, or individually."
"Almost all
of the people who are in key positions within our company
are DeVry graduates. Many of them have come to us through
the co-op program. Many started as part-time employees. They've
grown through the ranks. Once they reached their academic
goals and graduation, we subsequently hired them."
"What we're
doing at DeVry is actually what we'll see in the field. When
you graduate, you're not going to have to be retrained. I
actually had an employer tell me to go to DeVry."
