  • Information Security

    With an Information Security specialization, you'll focus on tools for systems development, implementation, management and security, and learn how to deploy technology-based solutions to protect customer and company data. You'll also gain an understanding of database components, management and security issues. Graduates may consider careers such as computer and information systems management, data security analysis and management or information systems security analysis.

  • Data Administration and Management

    When you earn your Master’s Degree Program in Information Systems Management with a specialization in Data Administration and Management, you'll complete coursework that examines the managerial concepts and tools for systems and database development, implementation, management and security. This program also touches on how to provide permissions to the correct parties and how to properly organize data across different types of databases.   • Data Security Analyst

    Data security analysts monitor networks within an organization to ensure that security breaches do not occur. They may also work to install and research new technologies that can help improve the security of the information on the network. Some common tools employed by these professionals include firewalls and data encryption programs.

  • Data Security Manager

    Data security managers handle all manner of IT security issues within a company. As a management-level position, this role is responsible for identifying security risks, setting protocols, installing new security software, hiring and managing team members and preparing and monitoring budgets for new security technology.
